Sidney really liked the X-Files video I gave her. From her I received a card, candy, and a Snoopy ornament. Nice. Today everyone was anxious to get out of school. As usual Mr. Mavetz played Christmas music in the hallway on a small record player. Everyone is happy to be finally rid of finals. Not that my Christmas (whoops, I’m sorry, Winter Break) is going to be all peace and quiet. If you remember, I still count the ol’ corn at LG Seeds as an after school job. In fact, I am working there tomorrow night and maybe Saturday. If not, it would be a great time to wrap up my Christmas shopping (pun not intended). Anyway, Dad and Hoke are still on my list. And then, after checking it twice, I added Ainsley and Holly Andrews to it. I’m thinking gold bracelets, or some reasonable facsimile. I had thought about mistletoe … ah, never mind.
Also, Sidney and Hoke are probably going to see a movie in Peoria on Monday. It would be a lot of fun. We never get together to do anything.
Saturday night I work at the Hub. If you’ve been paying any attention at all, I know what I’m wishing for. Other than that, all there is to do is wait for Christmas to come. I’m getting excited. This is truly the best time of the year.
