Things Fall Up (A Painting)

March 2, 2006  Thursday

It sounds like you getting along fine, and I am awaiting your thoughts on my Scotland letter and story about going to the moon.  You see, I have been trying to be experimental with my writings, and not just write a-b-c- happened.  It is the effect of all that I am reading, and I am trying to branch out or turn my pages into more of a canvas.  It’s an attempt to be creative.  This will be the one look behind the curtain I can allow, but last night I was faced with writing, but having nothing to say.  So I sewed some new clothes for the kind–do you know what I mean?  I’m trying to feed the five thousand here.  It’s becoming a little hard, but I enjoy challenge.  I’m less a picture taker anyway.  The short answer is that I am doing fine, but it has only been a few weeks.  This summer will be an experiment unto itself–I might try to write a book of blank pages by then.  This is nothing, the test is to come.  And that, my dear, is the news.  I’ll write again when I get my laundry back.
